Atendiendo a nuestro compromiso de fomentar y divulgar el uso de la telegrafía, miembros del Grupo Tortugas CW se desplazaron a Melilla para participar en el concurso de S.M. El Rey CW 2017 a celebrar los días 20 y 21 de mayo de 2017. Durante el concurso, el grupo utilizó el indicativo ED9T (desde 20/05/2017 12:00UTC hasta 21/05/2017 12:00 UTC).
Aunque nuestra actividad se basó principalmente en telegrafía, los días 18 y 19 de mayo de 2017 estuvimos activos en todas las bandas, en fonía, modos digitales y CW con el indicativo EG9TOR para otorgar el DME 52001 correspondiente a Melilla y que de esta forma muchos de vosotros pudiérais completar diversos diplomas y paliar de alguna forma la escasez de contactos con Melilla.

According to our commitment to promote and expand the use of telegraphy, members of the Tortugas CW Team travelled to Melilla to take part in the King Of Spain CW 2017 Contest to be held on May 20th and 21st, 2017. During the contest (from 20/05/2017 12:00 UTC to 21/05/2017 12:00 UTC), the team used the callsign ED9T.
Although our activity was mainly on CW, on May 18th and 19th, 2017, before the contest, we were active also in phone and digital modes, on all HF bands, using the callsign EG9TOR in order to grant the rare DME 52001 corresponding to Melilla, and this way, allow many of you to complete several awards and somehow relieve the shortage of contacts with Melilla at the same time.
